I’m expanding my cultural learnings

Update! Moneydick is in the top 1 million websites in the universe according to Alexa.

Since we’ve passed the last year by and we’re now deep into 2007, I thought I’d reflect on the numbers. This is the first time I’ve ever seen any meaningful visitor numbers coming from African nations. Usually it’s only the random South African visitor who I care very little about. Gobi! Congo! Cameroon! Now we’re talkin. It seems the Japanese are still collectively salivating over my collection of Optical Illusions.

Liricas Analas means ass rhymes and Siemis means dreams. The video was shoot in the thermal bath pools in Vals, designed by the famous architect Peter Zumthor. The magic atmosphere in this location made it easy for director Patrick Julier and his D.O.P. Henry Maurer to capture great images.

Optical Illusions, music, and relaxation

This is viscous fluid embedded with magnetic particles engineered by Sachiko Kodama and Minkako Takeno. It is called “protrude flow.”

There’s a great collection of experiments in fluid dynamics (or accidental art) here at the MIT fluid dynamics lab gallery for 2006.

If they don’t raise enough money to buy Sealand they will try to buy another small island, and claim it as their own country.

The site is already so well mirrored that if it were to be raided in Sweden, its fail-safe system would ensure that it would only be down a half second.
