    Panoramas

    Daniel published this entry on Thursday 11 May, 2006 at 12:16 am. It's been filed in the Europe category. {2 Comments}

    Because I saw my collection of panoramas was growing large, I thought I’d share em. Some of these are made with AutoStitch but most are with Photomerge in PScs2. Click gives larger versions and location info, but guess before you look.

    Gimmelwald, Grindelwald, Interlaken: Switzerland. Wrapping it up with the Swiss dreamland

    Daniel published this entry on Sunday 19 February, 2006 at 7:13 pm. It's been filed in the Europe category. {2 Comments}

    To start, I’d like to say that I love Switzerland more than any country I’ve been in. If there was one country I would choose to stay in the rest of my life, it would be this one. To see why I think this way, check out my pictures from the City of Thun and [...]

    Websites for Travelling Europe

    Daniel published this entry on Monday 13 February, 2006 at 10:43 am. It's been filed in the Europe + Online Tips category. {2 Comments}

    Before I disappear into the Swiss alps I thought I’d share some of the websites I’ve used religiously on my travels. For those who haven’t been keeping up, I’ve been on the windy road since September 20th, 05. Because I’m essentially a computer nerd, the internet has remained a nearly vital part of my [...]

    Les Alps, Strasbourg, Praha Again

    Daniel published this entry on Saturday 11 February, 2006 at 5:40 pm. It's been filed in the Europe + uncategorized category. {2 Comments}

    A few days ago I went for a ride on the French Alps at ‘Les 2 Alps’ in the Rhone area just south east of Grenoble. The mountain was massive and made any previous California, Colorado, or East Coast ski experience seem like a joke. The funny things French people scream on the slopes [...]

    Not missing this part of my home, The New World:
    Bush kinda lies
    WASHINGTON - One day after President Bush vowed to reduce America’s dependence on Middle East oil by cutting imports from there 75 percent by 2025, his energy secretary and national economic advisor said Wednesday that the president didn’t mean it literally.¬† READ MORE

    Groceries and GROCERIES

    Daniel published this entry on Tuesday 31 January, 2006 at 4:03 pm. It's been filed in the Europe category. {Share Your Thoughts}

    There’s a lot of nice things in Europe.
    I’ve been floating around over here for so long that I now have a different approach to seeing, experiencing, and comparing. Though I tend to enjoy every city I’ve been to, I can’t help comparing each city’s properties with my past experiences. Without meaning to, I now rarely [...]

    Lisbon, Portugal. To Grenoble, France on the Nextus

    At the Oceanarium, the
    Largest Aquarium in Europe

    So I met a Meaghan in Bordeaux when I was staying with a girl I met through globalfreeloaders.com and she was like yo you should come to Grenoble because there’s haunted houses and alpine resorts and craggy climbing peaks every place your eyeball goes… so I says ya [...]

    It’s Good to Be Bad

    Daniel published this entry on Friday 27 January, 2006 at 11:30 am. It's been filed in the Europe category. {Share Your Thoughts}

    This travel blog thing just hit 10,000 visitors. It only proves the old American proverb evermore truthful: It’s good to be bad.

    I’m in Lisboa, Portugal. Paris, France next. Strasbourg, France on the 5th of Feb. Whenever you thank a Portuguese man or woman for something, the answer is always: “Nothing.”
    I’d like to use [...]
